給新生的一段話 | English is an integral part of your future career. Of learning English, you have gained an access toward a broader world than you anticipate. Sometimes you may feel frustrated while encounter many unfamiliar English vocabulary words. But it doesn’t mean you cannot master the language one day. Just like an old saying goes; "how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time." And the process may be slow but "slow and steady wins the race." To achieve this, you want to be a tortoise, not the hare. Read a bit of English material daily, you can achieve tremendously over the years. Incrementality may appear not much while the outcome could be abundant. Your English ability won’t be wasted particularly during your employment. | |
推薦新生閱讀的書 | Snow White, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Little Mermaid, and even more challenging Arabian Nights are fun and could guarantee to give you an enjoyable time. |
